roll away your stone

  1. Yes, I am terrible for not updating for like...two weeks. Or something like that. I wore this outfit to an interview with Express. I asked my dad (of all people) what he thought about my outfit and all he could say was, "It's too gray." But that's okay. Oh, and did I mention, it was/is hailing, sleeting, raining, snowing after a brief spell of the 70's. Isn't that terrible? And I wore flats, too. Let's just say that I kind of sort of maybe slipped after getting off the bus to get home. Not. Fun.

  2. For all you sneakerheads/hypebeasts, check out my friend's clothing label, AIREAL APPAREL: Official Site & Tumblr.

I don't know what the quote/phrase/saying means, but the heart is cute!
  3. During one of my (many) late night study/homework sessions (aka: I procrastinated), my dad made me a midnight snack! Also, can you believe that I fell asleep last night after a 15 minute nap around 2 a.m while doing my paper? I wrote the introduction. I woke up at 7 a.m (while having class in three hours) and churned out the fastest paper I ever wrote. I can't believe I pulled it off. Two words:

    NEVER. AGAIN. (Maybe.)
  4. I WENT SHOPPING. I KNOW. I KNOW. IT'S SO BAD. But here are my new babies! Tommy Hilfigier boots. They are awesome. I can't wait to wear them in the spring too. The best part about them? THEY HAVE TRACTION. So I can wear it out in the snow and frolic.
  5. Pink cropped sweater. Dove print blazer. Pink lace dress. Mint green and pink skirts. I can't wait for spring.

Now I have to sew skirts for a performance on Saturday. At least I don't have class tomorrow. So tell me about your week, you guys! I'm super curious! SERIOUSLY. TELL ME ABOUT YOUR WEEK. Or I'll cry. And that's totally not cool.

UNTIL NEXT TIME, LOVELIES.

strfkr

The silence on this blog is a little deafening, so I decided to make a super huge update post! This is what I look like when I'm rushing out the door. But these photos were taken yesterday. Okay, I'm going to bulletpoint because I'm going to be late for school:

1 - 4: My lazy outfit. Oh my gosh. Am I the only one that remembers these Jansport backpacks? I was rummaging through my closet and found this one from 8th grade. Too bad I look like a 12 year old when I'm supposed to be in college.
5: Just some photos I wanted to share that capture what my reaction was when I was interviewing STARFUCKER/STRFKR on my crappy phone from the 8th grade/freshman year of high school. Seriously, it's a Sony Ericsson W200i or something. Circa 2007. UGH I NEED A NEW PHONE.
6: Here's a quick v-log on the updates for Fluorescent Adolescent magazine! I got to do an on the phone interview with STARFUCKER/STRFKR.

OKAY LATE FOR SCHOOL BYE GUYS.
LOVELOVE, JULIA

the show goes on

Sorry for the lack of updates! Things with FLUORESCENT ADOLESCENT magazine have been moving full speed ahead. It's scary and exhilarating to realize that this is slowly becoming reality. So if you're a fashion designer, writer, musician/band, photographer, artist, model, or anyone with any creative ability and wants us to give exposure to, visit our site and shoot me an email at: julialeung@FAmagazine.com. Please spread the word! The more the better. ♥

I had to break out the shorts yesterday, since I was basically sweating in my PJs. Too bad today's rainy. At least the weather's getting nicer. Even though I did nothing except stay at home, it was nice to get dressed up and do a small update. With dance practice and everything, my outfits this week were nothing special. In reality, they were probably things I already blogged about. I'm not looking forward to going back to the daily grind of college, especially since I'd rather be organizing my things with the magazine, but education is important...I guess, haha. Don't quote me though! Go to school, you guys! I'm making myself out to be such a bad influence...
